All 313Reads Partners serve essential roles in the work for collective impact. These roles are defined and outlined below. We are endlessly grateful for all our partners. Thank you for the thought, passion, and energy you bring to Detroit literacy.

UNI is a 313Reads Program Partner who has been an essential member of the Summer Learning Table since 2018 and works diligently to build strong neighborhoods in the Springwells community in many other ways! They conduct programming at Harms Elementary, Bennett Elementary, Cesar Chavez Academy, Earhart Middle, and Neinas Dual Language Learning Academy in addition to their home site in Springwells.
UNI has repeatedly reached out to community members to gauge their comfort with in person programming and currently hosts only virtual learning. They will continue to survey families to make sure they are providing learning that makes their communities feel safe. They have 50 virtual participants, and their community work emphasizes lessening the burden on families and staff. To do this, they pass out summer supply kits for students to stay engaged with learning materials, pass out food in partnership with Gleaners, take supply orders from families and make porch drop offs, host staff coping workshops, and dedicate an hour a week to collective staff self care!
